Experimental Investigation on the Characteristic of Hydrodynamic-Acoustic Cavitation (HAC)

This study aimed to investigate the Cavitation dynamics of Hydrodynamic-acoustic cavitation by employing experimental methods. The spatial distribution clouds, temporal and achieved main flow structure in field were extracted analyzed complying with cavitating image captured high-speed camera. As indicated from results, widened region strength under synergy ultrasound reported. When inlet pressure is 2 MPa, average value volume-averaging intensity variable 0.029, 0.058, 0.092, respectively, corresponding growth rate 95% 58.5%. By adopting Proper Orthogonal Decomposition method (POD), was revealed primarily enhance downregulating threshold other than altering large-scale vortex field. high-frequency pulsation strengthened instability exhibited shear layer induced small-scale structures at layer, which suggested be more violently shed collapse.
